A Heroic Admiral: James Stockdale

Held captive in “Las Vegas” – a North Vietnamese prison compound – James Stockdale endured seven and a half years of confinement and torture.  For his bravery and support of his fellow men, Stockdale received a medal of honor. Stockdale’s story is a compelling feature of Jack Sheehan’s book, The Class of ‘47.
